Since 2012, the Halloween season is celebrated with Trail & Treat.  Local government along with organizations, churches, and other groups provide a ​safe and fun event for children to collect treats as they walk along the trail at the Recreational and Services Park in New Castle.  For a safe trick-or-treating experience, activities, pumpkin decorating, and more, join lots of hobgoblins and princesses from 5-7 p.m.  The 2018 event is scheduled for October 19 with the rain date of October 26.  If your organization wants to participate, contact Travis Buchanan at the Judge/Executive's office at 502-845-5707.
