​​The county administers the Henry Trimble Animal Shelter to rescue and control dogs within the area. If you need their assistance, call 502-667-1055. The shelter is open to the public Monday - Friday, 10 am -4:00 pm, and Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm.​​
