Emergency Management

​​Emergency Services are vital to all residents.  The Emergency Management Agency (formerly known as Disaster and Emergency Services) works to plan and prepare for potential emergency situations, to respond to them, and to lead recovery efforts.  Denny Washburn, Administrator, and Deputy Director Mike Hilliard provide leadership for all services related to emergency services.  They work with local citizens and state agencies to coordinate planning and responses to such disasters as tornados, ice storms, chemical spills, and many other potential emergencies.  Contact EMA at 502-845-5705 or at 502-706-0611​.
