The Emergency Management Agency (formerly known as Disaster and Emergency Services) works to plan and prepare for potential emergency situations, to respond to them, and to lead recovery efforts. Amy Mahoney, Administrator, and Director Ian Burkett provides leadership for all services related to emergency services for Henry County. The office works with local citizens and state agencies to coordinate planning and responses to such disasters as tornadoes, ice storms, chemical spills, and many other potential emergencies.
