​​​​Henry County passed ordinances in 2025 to establish a tourist and convention commission and short-term rental property governance.  The purpose of the action is promoting convention and tourist activity. All funds generated by the transient room taxes will be utilized in advancing tourism and will be ​governed by the Henry County Tourism Commission.​​
